Cartilage Piercing Jewelry is A Fashion Statement Among The Young Generation
Ear piercing is the most common type of body piercing all around the world. There are two forms for ear piercing: ear lobes piercing and cartilage piercing. How to convince my mom about a tattoo/and a piercing?
I’m fifteen, get straight A’s, and really want two tattoos and two piercings this summer. I want one with white ink on my inner wrist (left or right, have not decided) that says “infinite” in cursive writing, a tattoo of three flying black birds on my left upper shoulder, an industrial bar piercing in my right cartilage ear, and my belly button pierced. I know she will not go for getting done all of them, but is there a really effective way on how to ask her and convince her of letting me?
Also, I know all the controversy about tattoos and piercings, and the ones I want are all in a place that you won’t be able to see unless you get really close, or take off some article of clothing of mine. I am well educated on tattoos and piercings and would be using my own money to get it done

You sound JUST like me when I was fifteen. I begged my mom for a nose ring, belly ring, finger piercing and these two tattoo’s that I “hadddd to have.”
My mom was never fond of piercings, but she had a bunch of tattoo’s (which she started getting when she was sixteen), so I knew I could eventually convice her –which I did. The night of my 15th birthday, I got my first tattoo (HELLO KITTY on my lower hip) –mind you, we had to drive around for hours to find somebody to tattoo me. In PA, they tattoo at 16 with a parents signature, so we just my older sisters ID. That summer, I convinced her to let get another tattoo, a picture that a boy I was dating had drawn (broken heart on my lower back). About a year after that, when I was sixteen, I convinced her to let me get my belly button pierced and my finger.
TODAY! I took the finger piercing out about a year after I got it. It never fully healed, got caught on everything, was just a total pain in the ass. Bellybutton I had to take out b/c I joined the military. I got it repierced when I got out. And those tattoo’s —whooooooooa buddy. I don’t want to say that I REGRET them…….. but it definitely would have been in my best interest to wait until I was 18. I probably would have changed my mind.
I know you’re going to swear up and down that your two tattoo ideas are no where near as ridiculous as what mine were, but the point is that you are YOUNG. WAYYY young. Just wait a while. Spend that money on elsewhere and enjoy your youth –or simply keep saving and wait until you are 18. The things that you think are cool when you’re fifteen are normally NOT what you think are “cool” when you’re in your mid twenties.
